Convenient location / comfortable accommodations...

Liked: I like the simple accommodations at this motel - One bed, small room with essentials at a reasonable price and has always had a room available on the first floor when I have gone there.
Disliked: I think I heard what I am pretty sure was a single gun shot (MIGHT have been a firework, but seemed more like gun shot) in very close proximity to the back of the motel on my first night there. I sat on the floor for about 1/2 hour working on my computer until I felt comfortable going to bed.

Liked: Good value for a motel. The room was clean, and it had a mini fridge and microwave which was nice.
Disliked: It was a nonsmoking room (as reiterated by the front desk employee), but there was definitely a smell of cigarettes in the room, specially in the bathroom
