The Spotlight on Trivelles Regency Nottingham

Modern Comfort Close to Nottingham's Music Scene

Trivelles Regency Nottingham offers a clean and contemporary 3-star stay just over a mile from Nottingham Castle and within easy reach of the city’s top entertainment venues. With sleek, minimalist rooms, a fitness center, and free WiFi throughout the property, this hotel is a great base for exploring live music or catching a big show. Some rooms even feature balconies with city views—perfect for a quiet wind-down after the gig.

Why Concert-goers love it

The hotel’s central location makes it easy to reach Nottingham’s major venues like the National Ice Centre and Rock City, all within a short taxi or bus ride. And with a late check-out time of 12:00 PM, it’s great for sleeping in after a night of dancing or moshing. Despite the urban setting, guests report a relatively quiet stay—ideal for recharging after the show.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends wanting a convenient city base
  • Solo travelers ticking a dream artist off their list
  • Couples turning a gig into a weekend escape
  • Fans seeking a quieter night after the noise
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who still want comfort

Food and Drink Options

While Trivelles Regency doesn’t have its own restaurant, the hotel’s central location puts you within walking distance of late-night takeaways, cafés, and pubs. Nottingham’s thriving food scene is easy to access, and options for breakfast after a late night are plentiful nearby. No on-site room service, but plenty of delivery options.

Nightlife Options

If you’re not done when the encore ends, you’re in luck—bars, clubs, and live music spots are just a short ride or walk away. From cozy cocktail lounges to indie pubs with local brews, the area’s evening energy is perfect for keeping the night going. The hotel itself is quiet, though, so you can opt out of the party when you’re ready.

What People Say

Guests love the helpful staff, clean rooms, and value for money. Many reviewers mention the hotel’s convenient location for events and concerts, as well as the fast and reliable WiFi. The modern decor and good in-room amenities also get frequent praise.

Areas for Improvement

There’s no on-site restaurant or bar, and some guests note the lack of air conditioning during warmer months. Soundproofing between rooms could be better for light sleepers, especially on busy weekends. Parking is limited, so plan ahead if you're driving.

The Bottom Line

Trivelles Regency Nottingham is a smart, budget-friendly choice for concert-goers who want to stay close to the action without sacrificing comfort or convenience.

Passable

Liked: Good bathroom.
Disliked: We had a really disappointing experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were cold and unwelcoming – no greeting, no eye contact, just an overall lack of basic hospitality. Our initial room was on the ground floor, and we immediately noticed that the windows didn’t lock properly. They were cracked open and could easily be accessed from outside, which made me feel really unsafe. When we raised this with reception, a staff member came to have a look but just shrugged it off, saying, “That’s the style of the window,” and told us there was nothing he could do. He was completely unhelpful and dismissive of our concerns. We ended up asking to move to a higher floor for safety reasons and were moved to the 4th floor. However, the new room was absolutely boiling. Even with the windows fully open and the fan on, it was uncomfortably hot and made it really difficult to relax or sleep.Overall, the lack of care from staff and the poor conditions in the rooms meant we would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

Horrible place and staff

Liked: Nothing besides it had a balcony
Disliked: The way the staff spoke to me on arrival demanding I pay a 50 pound deposit on the off chance I break something then told it was in the contract on my email which it wasn't. Then a staff member jus walked into my room half hr of me being there. My TV remote didn't work so I requested a new one and again a member of staff used a key and entered my room without knocking. No switch to turn dwn the heating my fan was broken which I reported and got no response to. I would not recommend nor come back

A comfortable night stay with...

Liked: The hotel was surrounded by students accommodation blocks so it was in a quiet location , parking was available on the street (free)or within the hotel grounds for extra 10pounds. The hotel buildings was part of Victorian lace factory hence some of the area is smaller than usual such as the reception area and the hall , but the room was a good Size and modern with high ceilings, it even included a small kitchen with microwave and tea making facilities which was a nice touch .The shops were within 5-10 minutes for essentials items . Good location and it felt safe . The hotel also provided full English or continental breakfast which refillable coffee and tea included in the price which was a nice touch , for customers there was a discount rate which was useful which saved us rush out to look for place to eat . The breakfast was well done and the breakfast room was spacious and clean .
