Loved Rome , will be...

Liked: No aircon available as it was early in the season. If we opened the window it was just a bit noisy with service traffic late in the night ( street cleaning and dustbin collection. The city is beautiful and clean
Disliked: I feel we got what we payed for. Great location for all the main attractions. Hotel very helpful with local restaurant recommendations . Breakfast brilliant.

A lovely small hotel in...

Liked: We were upgraded to a room with a super-king bed, which was ideal. The room was very clean. The bathroom was well equipped although the shower cubicle was a bit tight for my husband. There was no space in the room for a chair/sofa but we were only in the room to sleep, so that was fine.The 5th floor breakfast area was delightful, with roof-top views. The breakfast offered was excellent with a wide range of food and drink available. The staff were efficient and courteous.The location of the hotel was great; just a couple of streets away from the Trevi Fountain and we managed to walk everywhere we wanted to visit quite easily.
Disliked: The shower cubicle was a bit small.

Basic but expensive hotel in...

Liked: Very centrally located, the breakfast room is pleasant and it has a nice lift (not suitable for people with mobility problems though because there are quite a few steps into the hotel).
Disliked: We had a room upgrade and it would have been an okay size if there wasn’t a third bed crammed into it. To be fair to the hotel they are clearly on the middle of upgrading the entrance and reception but the really need to upgrade the rooms. They are distinctly shabby and ours smelled of drains. It was extremely expensive for what it was, you’re definitely paying for the location but they could spend some of that on at least giving the rooms a lick of paint.

Liked: The staff is courteous and genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay at the hotel.The rooms are clean.The breakfast is standard.The location is excellent – 10+.
Disliked: We were given rooms with an unpleasant smell, but we hope this issue has been addressed. We were moved to different rooms.The elevator is small and takes time to arrive.
