Lovely
Liked: Staff Very friendly and nothing to much trouble when ask.Had a lovely room, comfy bed with cooking facilities.

very old country manor great...
Liked: travelled in big group as a boxing club. everyone had teenagers staff made us more then welcome. and could not do enough to help us with our stay

Very enjoyable and pleasently surprised...
Liked: really quirky place , an old farm house in the middle of nowhere but within 5 minutes drive of Woolacombe. beautiful garden and grounds. the pool games room and bird sanctuary with emus and peacocks were really good on site facilities. Traditional devon farm house style decor but very clean and extremely comfy bed. The stay exceeded our expectations and we were really glad we went for this hotel.
Disliked: the decorating and bathroom could do with a slight refresh but it really wasn’t a major issue.

Could have been better
Liked: The onsite animals, views and breakfast room. Decor of rooms was also lovely despite the level of cleanliness.
Disliked: Most rooms had cobwebs and spiders including bathrooms and housekeeping missed cleaning several rooms of people in our group for the next day. Housekeeping needs to improve drastically.
