In spite of the many...
Liked: The design of the suite is very good...very practical. The location on the ski hill was fantastic. The view from the unit to the ski hill was great. There were lots of electrical outlets so charging our phones was convenient.
Disliked: There were many, many irritants. The microwave in the kitchenette wasn't working. When we had to warm up our pre-prepared meals, we asked if we could use a microwave in an adjacent vacant unit. At first we were told to use the stove or oven instead and then we allowed to use a microwave in an adjacent unit. We were told that the microwave would be fixed the next day. It wasn't. We again had to request to use in an adjacent unit. The following day the microwave was still not fixed. When we left the next day, it still wasn't fixed. The bathroom fan was as loud as a runaway freight train. When the bathroom light was turned on, the fan automatically started. If the bathroom was used in the middle of the night, we had to use the flashlight on our phones to avoid turning on the fan and waking up the others who were sleeping. The fold-out sofa bed was very uncomfortable...it was a sea of metal springs. Sleeping on the sofa bed was a very unpleasant experience. This is not uncommon in resort suites. I don't know why it is so difficult to provide decent quality sofa beds. Many of the kitchen utensils were of the cheapest, low quality genre. Maybe there is a problem with theft. There was no sieve, there were no tea towels for drying dishes, there was no sponge or dishcloth for washing dishes and no dish rack for drying dishes. We went into town to buy a dish towel and sponge scrubbers ourselves. There were three of us in the suite but we were only issued two key cards for the room. This meant that time was wasted on the slopes waiting for the third person (who had no key) to ski down to the bottom of the hill so we could pass over the key to provide access to the suite....a small issue but an indication that convenience for staff was more important than convenience for the customer. The decor of the building was decidedly 1970s and a little worn at the edges. I think it is rather badly in need of an upgrade. Oops. I've run out of...
