Inexpensive, good bed. Nothing more
Liked: Bare necessities. No phone, not even Kleenex in the room.
Disliked: Rooms are the size of a closet. Restaurant food was barely edible.

Don’t stay in this property
Liked: Charged Without Consent & Poor Front Desk Communication – Avoid!I had an extremely disappointing experience at The Tribe. I booked a two-night stay but only intended to pay for the first night initially. At check-in, I clearly informed the front desk that I would decide on the second night the next day, and I was told I could pay later if I chose to stay. The next morning, due to an emergency, I informed reception that I needed to check out early. I was told “everything is sorted” and that the second night would be cancelled. Based on this verbal confirmation, I left only to find out the following morning that £250 had been charged to my account for a night I did not stay. When I contacted the hotel, the Assistant Front Office Manager, Sananah Bachu, was completely unhelpful. She claimed I should have provided something “in writing” to avoid the charge as if guests should expect to submit legal documents just to check out of a hotel. She showed zero accountability, kept defending her staff, and made no effort to resolve the issue. This entire experience felt like a complete lack of transparency and professionalism. I was charged without consent, misled by the front desk, and then blamed for the hotel’s failure to communicate properly.I strongly advise future guests to be cautious if you value fair treatment, proper communication, and control over your own payment methods, you may want to reconsider booking here.
