Lovely location, pleasant grounds and...

Liked: The room was comfortable and spacious. We appreciated the space and the access to the terrace.
Disliked: The floor coverings were stained in some areas and looked tired. With a 5 star rating we would also have expected a safe in the room. Small details (like combined shampoo and conditioner) cheapened the experience.The pool was also difficult to access - booking was not a smooth process (why are bookings necessary?)

Weekend retreat

Liked: We liked the fact we had a patio area right outside our room and it was quiet
Disliked: We were fine with the pay as you go service cor meals and bar but found it unusual as most places we can add it to our room and pay at the end. However it wouldn't stop us staying again .

A touch of class

Liked: This is an impressive hotel in Cornwall. We loved it here. Manor house with great staircse High ceilings in the rooms, small flat screen tv and see view. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were lovely. Their are great walks and a poole onsite.
Disliked: This hotel is exceptional a touch

Liked: It’s a beautiful place. Very nice and clean. We had a room with a see view. The breakfast was delicious.
