Disliked: Dissapointed that the jacuzzi wasn't ready on the friday and the steam room wasnt working all weekend

Spa but no spa.

Liked: Room was clean and grounds were nice
Disliked: We booked the trip especially for the spa. You had to book an allocated time for it which was fine. We’d booked the last slot of the evening, so had a super early dinner.Got to the spa, the sauna was out of order, the hot tub was out of order. It was just the pool available to use, which had a lot of people in, which had clearly overstayed their time slot. So we were lost at what to do with the evening as we, ended up leaving the spa immediately.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay for both...

Liked: we loved the location and facilities for our dog. We liked the breakfast, but the dinner was let down by the limited offering and our waitress was sweet but needed to improve in some areas. It was always our intention to eat out and try different locations for most of the evening meals but our experience on the first night made it no competition. I would emphasise that it did not in any way say that this impacted on our enjoyment of the stay and is simply a minor point. The lodges are well appointed and the staff hard working, efficient and friendly
Disliked: The pool is not large enough and the very low depth for several metres and only 1.5metres at its deepest spoilt the experience. very crowded with just a few people in the pool and lane obsessed as a result of the size. The hot tub and changing facilities are excellent though.
