Disappointing
Liked: A modern, well furnished dog friendly room.
Disliked: The room was damp unfortunately (even bedding and my nightdress) and we had to drive long distances to find proper cooked food, so we abandoned our holiday and came home. A cooked breakfast is a must in these types of places or a kitchenette (especially when you have dogs with you) and neither were available. Rubbish from pizza and fish and chips piled up because there wasn't a room cleaning service. It is a shame as tbe hosts were lovely people, but it wasn't for us.

Check the reviews, no cooked...
Liked: The location was pretty but to get to the property you had to drive down a one way track. I think anyone who is due to visit should be prewarned that if you come across a vehicle coming the other way, you need to reverse quite a distance with limited view. The room was quaint and very clean on arrival however it wasn't hoovered in the 5 days we stayed. The hosts were very nice but very absent during our stay. Again, however i was provided a telephone number to call if i needed anything.
Disliked: The advertised flat screen TV was about 20 inches and it felt like the place needed a bit of a refresh. The shower had a bit of mould and one of the windows was broken, which we weren't pre-warned about. It felt like the two bedrooms in the farmhouse had been a little neglected in favour of the other rooms. The biggest disappointment was the lack of a proper breakfast, that is advertised. It seems Trenderway stopped cooking breakfast over a year ago and now just provide a cold, very limited, buffet type breakfast, with a voucher to attend a cafe in town (10 minutes drive). Very small portions of fruit, limited cereal and a coffee machine that wasn't working properly. I really hope the hosts take the feedback on board and provide this information more clearly on their website and on booking.com.Also be aware of an idle charge that is levied by the EV charger if you leave it plugged in overnight. This was not made clear by the hosts on arrival. That said, they very kindly arranged for me to be refunded, but this did take a message, email and a call to the property. The property boasts that it is a 5 start retreat, but it is more 3 star.

Liked: The family was beautiful and the room very comfortable, peaceful and quiet. It was close to everything wanted. Self serve breakfast all day was a great idea and allowed us to be at our leisure. The staff were warm and welcoming and amenities were satisfactory.
Disliked: Nothing perhaps thr only very small negative was the lounge furniture was a a little sad and lumpy but nonetheless clean and sufficient

Pleasant
Liked: An ok location to venture the south coast.
Disliked: Over three days we have not seen our host. A very basic (an understatement) breakfast although guests may drive to Looe for a breakfast at a designated lunchroom.

Very good
Liked: Great location our room Wisteria overlooked the gardens and lake. Complimentary cream tea on arrival and complimentary daily milk and apple juices delivered to the room.
Disliked: Trenderway claims to be a five star b&b, we didn't feel that the overall experience staying in Wisteria lived up to this claim. The room was quite oldy worldey with an extremely small television. I accept that our stay was during a heatwave but the room was very hot, we asked if there was a fan but there wasn't one available. Our biggest gripe was the breakfast arrangements, the website didn't make it clear that it was only a continental breakfast on site, a voucher was provided for a cooked breakfast in a cafe in Looe a few miles away but this wasn't practical unless you were going into Looe anyway.
