Why Concert-goers love it

You’re just a quick drive from downtown Albuquerque, with the Kimo Theater, Albuquerque Convention Center, and Bernalillo Metropolitan Courthouse all within 3 miles. That means less time commuting and more time enjoying the show. Plus, with the hotel set slightly outside the city center, it’s a quieter spot to wind down after the encore. While late-night transit options are limited, rideshares are easily available. The 3pm check-in and 11am checkout are pretty standard but allow for a bit of flexibility—perfect if you’re arriving early or sleeping in post-show.

Breakfast options are available nearby if you're rolling out of bed a little later than usual after a night of dancing.

Nightlife Options

There’s no live music on-site, but you're close enough to downtown Albuquerque to tap into its buzzing nightlife scene. From dive bars to craft cocktail lounges, you’re never far from your next round. The hotel itself offers a quiet, no-frills environment—ideal for those who partied hard and now just need a good night’s sleep.

Past guests appreciate the cleanliness and spacious rooms, as well as the friendly front desk staff. Reviewers frequently mention the hotel’s convenient location for events downtown and say it’s a great value for the price point. Many note that the hotel feels peaceful and safe, which is a big win for solo travelers or late-night returns.

Areas for Improvement

There’s no restaurant or bar on-site, which might be a downside for those wanting to grab a bite or drink without leaving the property. Some guests mention the décor feels a bit basic—but most agree it’s made up for by the helpful staff and clean conditions.

The Bottom Line

Tree Inn & Suites Albuquerque is a solid choice for concert-goers who want a clean, calm, and conveniently located base without breaking the bank.

The nastiest rooms I’ve ever...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The rooms were absolutely disgusting and poorly maintained. It was a bad area. Dirty and outdated. Smelled like smoke. Cat food in the air conditioner unit. Doors were broken. Keys worked on other doors very unsafe! No towels. Dirty bathroom. Even feces on the toilet paper roll. They said they’re remodeling. Got room next door. No pillows or shower curtain dirty tub and no privacy curtains. And I was bit by mosquitoes. Low income housing more than a hotel. Just very very bad experience.

It was clean and reasonably...

Liked: The manager was wonderful and he went way beyond expectations to please us!
Disliked: The property was clean but very old and NEEDS repair! The locks on my doors were very unstable which worried me! Made use of a plastic bag since there was no garbage can and I could not find a remote for the TV.

Decent value for affordable price.

Liked: The price and location met our needs for a quick stop/sleep on our journey.
Disliked: The $100 deposit. There was no soap and not enough towels which was rectified once I went down and notified the desk. There was no one in the lobby in the morning when we left.
