Beautiful building in need of...

Liked: The location was excellent. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. There was a large carpark. There was a bath. It was very cheap.
Disliked: The was a feeling of mould which triggered my asthma. The shower was not usable as only a trickle. The breakfast cereal was five months past its use by date so didn't feel comfortable trying any of the other food offered to us at breakfast other than a slice of toast

Grubby, cheap, I suppose you...

Liked: The curry served in the pub, delicious
Disliked: Grubby, dreadful maintenance, probably was due a refurb in 1990.

We had a great time...

Liked: All staff brilliant location fantastic bus stop at top of road lovely bar and outside area
Disliked: Rooms were in need of a make over towels and bedding fantastic

Comfortable and enough for what...

Liked: The room was comfortable. The location was perfect, we had a lovely walk along the River in to Oxford Centre
Disliked: The Shower did not have enough power so getting ready took a while, and there was a electric socket that did not work.The room could do with some modernisation and decorating.

Pleasant

Well located, comfortable and clean...

Liked: To be honest this property has seen better days. But having said that it was clean, roomy and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were wonderful. Close to the bus directly into Oxford for a night out. I would definitely return.

Oxford stay

Liked: Privately run place. Very friendly owner and lovely bar staff. Nice bar, good atmosphere and full Indian menu which was lovely. Place could do with some cosmetic upgrades but I like to support these businesses run by people trying hard against the chains. Free parking too. Would definitely return when next in Oxford
