Liked: So, this has a nice restaurant, pleasant staff I parked around the corner easily and the room was clean. Evening meal was good and the cooked breakfast items especially was good.
Disliked: very very noisy, warm night so windows open, wetherspoons opposite and the idiots driving all night at high speed meant little sleep. pillows poor. Wifi totally naff. breakfast coffee poor and no fruit juice. Evening restaurant staff were excellent, breakfast staff could not be bothered.

Lovely, comfortable hotel

Liked: Lovely room, big comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Delicious breakfast. The hand and body washes smelt lovely.
Disliked: Only one bedside table, but plenty room for one on the other side. No full-length mirror, but plenty wall space where one could be put. Just these two additions would make the room "excellent" instead of "very good".We were given a pre-order form for breakfast which stated that it should be left outside our room by 10pm. We did that, but form wasn't collected. It wasn't a problem and breakfast was cooked from scratch, but of course this meant a bit of a wait. We didn't mind as we're not in a hurry and the food was very nice

Liked: Everything Especially the staff. Receptionist so helpful & welcoming. Bar man also lovely. Food was AMAZING!! I had the chicken curry & obviously made completely from scratch. Same with lasagne Recommend for food as well as a stay

A frustrating stay. Hotel was...

Liked: Good food, nice room, very good staff.
Disliked: WiFi did not work, which was essential as it was a work trip. The TV in one room did not work, so after unpacking I moved to a other. 3 channels on the TV in the new room worked, swapping to a different 2 channels the next night. I asked staff to look at it, but they were too busy with customers in the bar and restaurant.

Lovely hotel to stay in,...

Liked: Good evenng meal. Very good welsh breakfast. Lovely room, comfortable and spacious. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Pillows huge on bed, we prefer smaller ones, it's only a personal choice. Does not detract from a nice stay.

Fantastic value and service and...

Liked: I couldn’t praise it enough. Michelle went above and beyond to give me a great stay and made it an amazing experience. The room was gorgeous, large and cool on the hottest day of the year and the bed really comfortable. I saw reviews about noise (mainly from the pub opposite) but with the window shut could barely be heard. The food was fantastic and really good value as were the cocktails! There is a lovely bar and garden. There is great history to the town and it’s so close to the four waterfalls walk and the beacons was a great find.
Disliked: Nothing

Good hotel

Liked: Spacious room with good shower room. Very good pub dinner.
Disliked: Table on one side of bed only. Unfortunately town has seen much better days.
