Liked: The older style and decor. It's a heritage building and although hasn't had an upgrade for a while, it still is a beautiful old building with lots of charm.
Disliked: Not a dislike, but if you are driving and not familiar with Brisbane City one-way streets, it is difficult to find the entrance to guest parking.

A lovely, relaxing stay in...

Liked: It is a beautiful heritage hotel full of old world charm. The atmosphere is wonderful. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful and accommodating, with lots of information about the hotel and the area. The food and drinks we had were lovely and good value.
Disliked: We were told that the hotel is up for sale. Hopefully the new owner will keep the hotel as a heritage one, as it will be very sad if we lose this historic venue.

Liked: Beautiful old building. Lovely architecture. Staff friendly and helpful.
Disliked: A little bit of TLC needed to keep it up to the standard it deserves. Paint peeling , cobwebs & dust. Inexpensive and easy to rectify.

Fab stay

Liked: Huge room 120,very comfy beds,huge bathroom,very central.
Disliked: Doonas on both beds had stains and shame there were no windows to open but still fab room.
