Treasure Island - TI Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

We were a bit disappointed in the hotel. In fairness, maybe it was because we had just checked out of the Encore and it was 'over the top', but we expected a little more cleanliness from Treasure Island, but loved the tram system nearby and location in general.

Liked: Front desk, Michael, was very helpful with accommodation and directions; very patient and pleasant.
Disliked: Pillow cover on bed had black dirt marks; lounge chair stained and dirty; picked up what looked like wadded up paper towel under desk - ugh.

Disliked: very long line up for check in at desk so we were sent to the self-check. Unfortunately it was a complicated self check-in system, too many steps and it wasn't European friendly (difficvulty to recognie address, telephone, postal code...),. The safety deposit box was non -fubctional, we waited 60 minutes for repair, no one from the maintenance /repair department showed up hence we lost the only oportunity we had to use the pool (which closed at 8:00 pm)

Liked: The elevators were specific to floors so the elevators were never overcrowded. Great idea! My elevators were only for floors 27-to top floor. Elevators were never crowded and quickly available.
Disliked: General smoking in the casino. You can smell it as soon as you walk in the door.

Great location, but we won’t...

Liked: Really great location! Excellent parking availability!
Disliked: The hotel is clearly past its prime – the good times are gone. Overall, it feels tired and outdated. The pool and surrounding area were clean, but lacked any charm or character; compared to other hotels, it felt impersonal, with no greenery, bushes, or shade.Breakfast – we booked 2 nights for 4 people in a family room with breakfast and parking. Parking was excellent. However, for breakfast we only received 2 vouchers in total – meaning 2 breakfasts instead of the expected 8. When we sent our kids to breakfast, they had to wait in line for 30 minutes (half of the restaurant was closed, so the line was artificially created!). In the end, they were served something completely different than what they had ordered.Next year we will definitely choose another hotel.
