Good location and value for...

Liked: The convenient location cannot be faulted. Room was above the bar and facing out onto the street making the room a bit noisy, however for the price you cannot expect too much
Disliked: Better access. Nothing said in the accommodation notes that you could not access hotel reception from the carpark through the main bar/restaurant with a minor. Having to walk around the outside of the hotel and around adjoining properties to get to carpark was inconvenient, especially at night

Liked: For the price it was excellent value. Old school hotel but still provided everything we needed. Clean,warm and quiet. Linen and towels top quality. Great staff. Great location. Food in pub good quality and reasonably priced
Disliked: I should have booked a double room rather than 2 single beds as one of the beds was a bunk which was not ideal. However bedding was top quality

Disliked: Rooms are old and need a good cosmetic lift. Some peeling paint, stained seats , kitchen furniture could do with being replaced.
