Cute cottage stay, great restaurant...

Liked: Cute little cottage, was so great being able to take our dog as well! The cottage was well equipped and nice having the hot tub to use. The food at the restaurant was really delicious and lovely staff. Definitely eat there when you stay (probably better than lots of restaurants in town)

Liked: Rural setting great views
Disliked: Nothing that the owner could do. Truck noise changing gears to go up the hill. Got used to it. The couch for us oldies took a bit of getting out of. Being able to sit outside and take in the atmosphere and bird life an added bonus. Next visit I will be better organised I didn’t realise the restaurant was closed to get a feed. My bad didn’t read the site properly. And I will get to try out the spa.

The stay was very pleasant...

Liked: The breakfast had a huge selection to choose from and what we had was delicious. The lunch we had was also first class and the surroundings were really nice.
Disliked: The cottage when we first got there was very dusty from bobcat works to lay instant lawn. The problem was quickly solved once we reported it. The blinds were hard to operate but we have been told that planned renovations will fix that. The TV reception was dreadful so something has to be done to improve that.

Liked: Well sign posted and easy to find. Cottage tastefully decorated and had everything I needed. Good blinds on the windows.Mel responded very quickly and positively when I texted late at night about barking dog.
Disliked: Large window above bed without blind. So close to other cottage you can’t avoid hearing everything when they use their verandah - conversations, mobile phone pling/game noise.I had booked for some longer for and much needed R&R and solitude, great place but not the right booking for me
