Travelowes Motel - Maggie Valley

Not bad for a night

Liked: Manager was nice at check in let us check in early. Rooms are clean but could use some touch up paint. It is nothing fancy but a good price to lie your head down for a night. It was clean. To me the beds were a little hard

Liked: Very clean, central location, nice pet potty station
Disliked: I would’ve preferred warmer, heavier bedding. I got cold in the night

Not what it advertised.

Liked: Location
Disliked: The pictures showed no carpet but that was not true. There was old carpet throughout the room. The bathroom did not have ventilation and the window next to the beds could not be locked.

Disliked: Seemed to be people staying on a regular basis that kind of made me feel unsafe

Travelowes is a decent place...

Liked: It’s a comfortable place to be. Staff are exceptional. The pool area was nice and clean
Disliked: The hotel has been there a long time and it’s dated. However, the new owners are working on bringing things up to date.
