Disliked: Poor breakfast services. Uncourteous catering staff especially your Chef, he has no manners how to welcome guest. He was not interested in cooking anything. he was all stressed and uncooperative.

Liked: Not a lot. This used to be a really nice hotel when it was a Travelodge. Presumably, the new owners thought that they could do better, but they haven't. It's a cold, soleless place, self service check in is OK for a 25yr old but in your 70s it's confusing, expected to download their app when your UK phone doesn't work in Australia is a joke. We ended up being helped by a young lady who seemed to be there just to help customers use the machines. So if you are going to have people hanging around, why not ditch the machines and bring the receptionist back. There is nothing nicer than being greeted by a smiling face.
Disliked: The second day, we returned to our room around 6.00pm to find that the room had not been serviced. I complained to the manager who stated that all the service staff had gone home as if that was an end to the matter. I persisted, saying that was his problem, not mine, and I wasn't sleeping in an unmade bed. Pointing out the we were paying him a lot of money for the privilege of no having to make our own bed. He eventually found someone to make the bed, but the rest didn't get done until the following day. I remember thinking at the time that it would have been nice to have an apology. I guess that was too much to expect. The pillows were too hard and uncomfortable. There didn't seem to be a softer option .The breakfast was a little hit and miss. One day, the bacon was perfect, and the next, it was burnt to a crisp. One day, the scrabbled egg was swimming in liquid the next it was not
