Clean room and comfortable bed.
Liked: Location was just where we needed it. Room was clean.
Disliked: There were no drinking glasses in the room and had to ask staff for them. TV did not work.

Cost effective option to Steamboat
Liked: The host was super nice and available when needed. The room was clean and the bed were comfortable.
Disliked: The exterior door lock did not work and was hard to get in during a blizzard.

Liked: 40 minute drive from steamboat springs, parking available
Disliked: Building and rooms smelled like smoke. Staff were rude and dismissive.

Rooms dirty and not ready...

Disliked: Was told I could check in @ 4. When we got there at 530 to check in were told room was not ready due to housekeeping issues and room would be ready in 20 minutes and we we're given our key card. Waited in parking lot until 6. Opened door to room and someone was in the room cleaning it. Was told they were almost done, we drove to a town 15 minutes away to eat. When we got back there was pet fur on floors and furniture, floors were not attempted to be cleaned and bathroom still had someone elses wet towels. Last year we had a reservation, we checked in (paid and got key card) and then went into town about 30 min. away when we got back our room was given to a "priority customer" who was a railroad worker. There is one employee for the hotel who also is the waiter, cook and server of their "restaurant". This hotel is housing for railroad workers. While it is THE ONLY hotel in this town, next trip we'll travel the extra 30 minutes for a clean reliable room.

Liked: There was nothing to like.
Disliked: When we arrived at after 6 pm to check in the registration agent said they had a housekeeping problem and the room was just being cleaned. When we got to the room no housekeeping staff was in sight and it had not been cleaned, with bedding tossed everywhere and it was a total mess. They could not tell me how long it would take for the room to be cleaned and I asked to cancel the room as we obviously couldn’t stay there. The hotel manager canceled the room and assured me I would not be charged. Now, 2 days later and far away from that location, I see they did charge me the full amount of $182.95 for a room that was uninhabitable. I really hope that booking.com will help me fight this charge as it is totally unfair.
