Disappointing

As apartments demand to high...

Liked: I stayed there several times over Winter, for several months. I visited 3 different years. The staff is easy-going, but could be more serious about work. There is a weekly discount over the Winter. Fast food places, grocery and convenience stores in walking distance. Security is adequate, but can't foresee bad tenants still moving in and causing trouble. WiFi worked quite well!, but I had to re-log into their server every day. * ( The worth of my opinion is that I've work broad, professional hospitality over a decade. )
Disliked: I stayed there several times over Winter, for several months. Breakfast was only milk, juice, coffee, breads. Decaf. coffee dispenser rarely worked. Cleaning was poorly done. I had to wipe off mirrors, sink, and sweep 1 of 2 rooms. Maintenance was needed in many areas! Lots of cosmetic damage. Clocks on microwaves and clock radios (not present in every room) did not have time set. In 2 rooms, 1 Telephone, 1 refridgerator and microwave did not work properly. Staff replaced fridge after I nagged them 3 times. I've known many hotels to do deep cleaning during the slow season (including where I worked in HK), but I don't see that being done here.

Liked: Staff was friendly, they had just remodeled so stuff was a little dusty still. As far as general cleanliness it could have been loads better as there was a lot of hair left in the bathtub, dead bugs (sand flies, gnats) in the wind seal, dirt caked in the corners. Biggest complaints would be there was ZERO heat other than from a space heater the facility provided (fire hazard), fairly large crack under the door frame drafted pretty bad we had to use a towel to block it. No carpet, laminate flooring on a concrete floor so the floor itself was also freezing. Stated they provide breakfast, not sure if Cheerios, a couple tiny muffins and a few slices of bread provided constitutes as a continental breakfast so I give that a 2/10 Granted we were there basically to sleep, not much down time was spent in the room. Would I choose to stay again, if desperate times called for desperate measures yes, other wise no probably not. I’m sure once they are done with renovations things will be better but honestly I’m not entirely sure. But the room did was it needed and gave us a place to lay our heads on a decently comfortable bed (although thicker blankets would have been nice as it was freezing in there) and take a warm shower.

Disliked: The floor boards were coming off, there were cords peeking out everywhere, the front desk was not accommodating at all, there was no light bulbs in the lamps.
