For a low class hotel it wasn't completely horrible.

Liked: Upon check out the front desk attendant asked if we were going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and we were able to purchase our tickets instead of waiting in line at the aquarium.
Disliked: I asked for non-smoking adjoining rooms when I booked. I called to verify and they said they could get the rooms straight across from each other. Upon check in this was not true and the room I had my baby in smelled horrible of cigarette smoke and I don't know what else. The crib was not setup nor were the sheets put in the room for it. The room gets extremely hot and humid, no a/c.

Disliked: The A/C kept erroribg out and stopped working numerous times. I had be the maintenance man and reset it numerous times. The fridge didn't get cold and restaurant was not open in the hours during the hours it said it would be.

Disliked: It wasn’t very clean, the rooms were dated, it was quite difficult taking our luggage to our room as there were no elevators and no trolley for your bag. We used the laundry room and the dryer didn’t dry the clothes despite paying $8 for one cycle of washing and drying.

Liked: We stayed in the Del Monte Suite and it had three nice beds. The room was a good size. It looked like most all the rooms had a sliding glass door that opened to the back side of the room onto either a private balcony or a shared one. The pool was good. Pool towels were available at the front desk. There is a cafe right at the hotel that had good food. Short drive to Canary Row. Lots of parking at the hotel. The staff were helpful.
Disliked: The noise from other guests and airplanes was loud but not unbearable for us. The bathroom and shower were my least favorite part of the hotel room. Some people might find it’s size & cleanliness unacceptable. The bathroom fan was very loud.
