For a low class hotel it wasn't completely horrible.

Liked: Upon check out the front desk attendant asked if we were going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and we were able to purchase our tickets instead of waiting in line at the aquarium.
Disliked: I asked for non-smoking adjoining rooms when I booked. I called to verify and they said they could get the rooms straight across from each other. Upon check in this was not true and the room I had my baby in smelled horrible of cigarette smoke and I don't know what else. The crib was not setup nor were the sheets put in the room for it. The room gets extremely hot and humid, no a/c.

Liked: Stayed just one night en route to San Francisco. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Easy to get to aquarium and whale watching trips booked, and hotels looked after our bags happily. Easy to find, easy to park, nothing else needed

Absolutely terrible!!

Liked: Ricardo the front desk clerk was the only positive thing about this stay. He was friendly and had great customer service skills.
Disliked: Hotel was dirty with bugs. Upon check in, we were told by the manager that there were many upgrades and rennovations. There were bugs and appliances were not working. Maintenance was called many times and we eventually had to be switched to a different room. Hotel stay was supposed to be for two nights, but we left early and move to a better hotel. Under the circumstances, hotel agreed to not charge for the second night after we contacted booking.com to complain. Hotel staff was accommodating except for the manager. I dont recommend staying here ever!

Liked: Ricardo - fab reception and really helpful throughout. Fresh fruit, coffee and granola bars in reception for breakfast. Good diner next door. (Del Monte) - very convenient.

Disliked: It’s a Motel 6 that has been remodeled into a Whydham, very comfortable but windows, doors and shower tile is very old
