Travelodge by Wyndham Monterey Bay

For a low class hotel it wasn't completely horrible.

Liked: Upon check out the front desk attendant asked if we were going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and we were able to purchase our tickets instead of waiting in line at the aquarium.
Disliked: I asked for non-smoking adjoining rooms when I booked. I called to verify and they said they could get the rooms straight across from each other. Upon check in this was not true and the room I had my baby in smelled horrible of cigarette smoke and I don't know what else. The crib was not setup nor were the sheets put in the room for it. The room gets extremely hot and humid, no a/c.

Pleasent stay, very clean but...

Liked: The room was welcoming and clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the cleanliness of the room was amazing. The entryway was spacious. The fridge worked great and kept our drinks super cold. Parking right outside our door was a huge convenience. The staff were very nice and easy to work with. Affordable price for what it was.
Disliked: The exterior of the establishment was very drab and gave prison vibes. No plants or anything besides a few small ones in the front. Where our room was, it was just concrete. Nothing green to be seen. We got a room with two queens, and they were basically pushed against the wall, just was pretty cramped, and we would have liked some more space.

Liked: The bed was comfy, room was clean and there was actually a closet, definitely a plus. Gal who checked me out was very friendly.
Disliked: Bathroom was dated.Gentleman who checked me in was not friendly.

Liked: The staff was very nice and helpful. Especially in front office. I will stay here again
Disliked: The curb appeal.
