Riverview and in walking distance...

Liked: Was looking for a river view, Check! And do not like driving on higher bridges...so, Newcastle, Check!
Disliked: That the restaurant was not available in the evening.

Nice Hotel

Liked: Friendly and polite staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Good price for a weekend stay
Disliked: Breakfast was okay, but the juice was watery and the eggs were only just warm.

Great location and family friendly

Liked: We were traveling with our kids and grandkids. The included breakfast was very convenient and had enough options. The kids loved the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful and I appreciated the confirmation call two days before our booking. It was great being able to tie our boat up right outside on the river. The restaurant was delicious for supper after a day out on the water.
Disliked: No fan in the bathroom.

Liked: Nice location next to the river, but at a dead end. Receptionist on duty on the desk for the evening was great.He was so informative and chatty. Nice bloke! Room ok, clean and conformable.Great restaurant adjoining the hotel, highly recommended but did get noisy
Disliked: Breakfast wasn't the best. Flimsy plastic cutlery, toasters that took forever.
