About what I expected from...

Liked: I usually stay here when I have to visit the city. It's more economical than anything in San Francisco, and it's only a few minutes from the bridge. The rooms are somewhat spartan, but adequate. They are also quiet, which is important. There is a good Indian restaurant on the premises, and others nearby. The only complaint I have is the quality of breakfast. Before the pandemic, they used to serve fresh fruit, cereal, and pastries. This time there was only coffee and some bad glazed donuts. But I guess that's the economy these days.
Disliked: See above. Quality of breakfast was terrible. Bring back cereal and bananas.

Okay...other than the carpet.

Liked: I had stayed here about a month ago and really was happy with my room. I decided to return on this trip and was disappointed with my room. The difference being that on my first visit the room had hard wood floors and presented really clean. On this last stay the room had a very dirty scary looking carpet and didn't dare step on with bare feet. And I had a TV that did not turn off and I was only able to get one channel. Luckily I can sleep through that sort of thing. I would stay here again...next time ask for a room with hard floors.

Teeny room is nice for...

Liked: Convenient location and pleasant staff. We had a fridge and microwave even though the room description said we wouldn’t have them.
Disliked: Room was amazingly small, coffee maker didn’t work and it was a challenge figuring out the freeway routes to and from the hotel.
