Liked: The front desk agent was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.
Disliked: The rooms should offer microwaves.

Poor

Liked: I believe the staff was doing the best they could with a lack of proper supplies and updates to amenities. The property is sorely outdated, understaffed and overpriced. Owners need to do better.
Disliked: Our room wasn't ready upon arrival. There were conflicting check in and breakfast service times provided accross websites. I had to walk to the desk multiple times because the Phone in the room wasn't working (no cord!). Each time I had to wait because there were other guests voicing complaints about other issues.The TV in the room wasn't working, we had to fix the hookup ourselves as the cords were hooked up incorrectly. A dirty towel was folded and placed with towels I HOPE were clean. The pool wasn't being filtered and there were no towels available poolside. The staff, despite all this, remained calm and as gracious as they could!

Liked: It was quiet.
Disliked: Leaky shower head, freezing cold pool, mediocre breakfast, room door sticks and hurting my shoulder, hitting our heads on a hanging lamp and over priced pet fee should be based on the size of the dog.

Liked: They left us leave our vehicle in the parking lot the two evenings we stayed at Mackinac Island
Disliked: Lousy breakfast

Liked: Breakfast and location were good.
Disliked: The shower was terrible because the temperature kept changing from hot to cold throughout my shower. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable; mattress was too hard and the pillows were too soft and flimsy.

Liked: Location was good, sheets and pillows had been washed, and I slept decently well on the old bed. Didn't smell bad
Disliked: Extremely dirty, moldy, alot of water damage. Bed was brown.. walls have marks and stains on them, as well as the two chairs. The bathroom floor had damaged tile, the shower tile was improperly installed and had water damage all behind the entirety of the shower. There was rust, and water stains in the shower tub. Rust in a panel on one of the light switches. Also, there was obvious signs of mold throughout the room including a lampshade.
