Going downhill

Liked: Location is great!
Disliked: I enjoyed this property before it became Travel Lodge. The property is in need of serious repairs. Side entrance doors don?t work! Have to go through the main entrance, which is inconvenient. Staff are not friendly and act like it?s an inconvenience that I?m there. The condition of the room wasn?t great. TV wasn?t working and the microwave handle was broken. It was clean, but the smell of the cleaner was toxic. I stay here because it?s close to family when I visit. At this point, I think I will pay more and stay a better place. It?s too bad that change of ownership has ruined a good motel.

Disliked: The only problem I really had was when I went to check in they did not have my room ready so they asked me to return in 30-45 mins. Also the lady at the front desk wasn't too sure on where the guest laundry room was.

Whats up with hotels these...

Liked: Location is right behind the Safeway which is great for last min dinner. But don't buy any ice cream or anything frozen. There again they some how went cheap with there decor and only put a refrigerator but no freezer. What's up with that. Like it really cost that much more? For the convenience for the guest or is the land of who cares about the guest. Come on corporate. Cheap is cheap but that just cheap Another thing why only one ice machine? On the bottom floor? So if and when it breaks down. Since they always do. You stuck pissing people off or having to buy ice from Safeway for the guest which would ad up to more in labor and the such. So step it up corporate of America. Save your big bounce for the guest and your employees. The real face of your company.
Disliked: Its a nice place for the money. But they are missing some nice touches to get a good rating. One thing is get ride of the double bed. There is no reason but thinking it will lower the price . It just makes it a big room with a small bed that you feel like you will fall out of. Direct tv sucks. It confusing and does not offer any local channels. At least from what I could find with the supposed 500 channel of fox. The last thing is put some USB plugs in the room. For gods Sake it 2020 not 1980. The staff are great and need a raise

Liked: Unfortunately, no breakfast to rate. Staff was O.K.
Disliked: The room was small. NO cups to drink coffee from IF there had been any coffee to make. The bed was only partially made, Sheets only, No blanket or spread. The outside door would not open with the room key, it was propped open with a rock. Much more but I am out of room. No pun intended.
