Pleasant

Disliked: Pillows a bit lumpy.

Very clean and comfortable room...

Liked: Room was very clean and comfortable. The body soap, shampoo, and conditioner are high quality. Grocery store across the street. Staff at reception is kind and helpful.
Disliked: The downtown Eureka location, where the motel is located, isn't so nice.

Manager was great and helpful.

Liked: What breakfast? There was no breakfast!
Disliked: Homeless people everywhere lingering about and using rooms. Back alley dirty with liter and old trashy cars.

Clean and comfy

Liked: An overnight stop on a road trip. Picked for easy parking, as we were pulling a trailer. Host was great, friendly and helpful. A little out of the centre, but cute old town neighborhood a two minute drive. Eureka kind of hurting right now, but has the bones of a once charming town.

Bad!!!

Liked: The room was clean & beds were somewhat comfortable.
Disliked: I booked a week ahead, and asked for a downstairs room. I am 68, and my son has back issues. Our room was upstairs- he said he didn't have any downstairs. It wasn't even close to a stairway- it was almost in the middle. We checked in about 10 pm, the people next to us had their TV really loud for over an hour & talked really loud. The heater was very slow to work. I called tge desk about 29 minutes after we checked in. It rang about 10 times, then stopped, no answer, just stopped. I called a little while later- same thing. I didn't want to go up & down the stairs again, to see if anyone would even answer if I went there. There us supposed to be some one in the office till 2am or later, and it was only about 1030pm. When we were leaving in the morning, the maid cart was right between a room & the stairs, it was really hard to get around it- especially with things ti put in my car! Also there was a puddle of water right in front of the top of the stairs, some one could slip very easy! Wgen I went to go back down with another load to my car, the cleaning guy had moved the cart right in from of my & the next door room- so I couldn't even get around it. He was cleaning on the other side- not even near the cart. He saw me coming out of my room with some things, & didn't even bother to move his cart! I had to tell him to move it!! So rude!! I will never stay here again!! I puck Wyndham hotels a lot, because they are usually very good, clean & nice. This was terrible!!
