Travelodge by Wyndham Edmonton South

Friendly staff; nice, clean rooms; late check out. Overall we enjoyed the hotel experience. Would stay again.

Disliked: Rooms were double beds not queens as the booking stated.

Liked: The location is great for food. There's a lot of choices for restaurants to choose from.
Disliked: The cleanliness of the rooms is questionable at best. Felt like the bed under the comforter sheets are dirty. The pillows still have some questionable marks on them. The floors felt very sticky (thankffully I brought some slippers of my own). The washroom had some small flies flying around.

Liked: The staff was nice and it was in a good location.
Disliked: It is very run down, the beds are old and some broken, the rooms were not very clean ( hair in my shower not mine, and dirty sheets). Due to the price had a lot of guests who did not respect their environment and cigarette buds everywhere.

The front staff was exceptional....

Disliked: Dirty, unsafe, rooms smell

Friendly staff and clean budget...

Liked: The staff were friendly. Easy to uber to airport from there. Room was very simple but clean and with a fridge and microwave. Was able to do laundry for only $5 wash and dry.

When I arrived, I realized...

Disliked: When I arrived, I realized that the photos didn't match reality. The hotel was also very poorly maintained, the hallways were filthy, and the room had a very bad smell. So I decided not to spend the night there and I'm still waiting for a refund, plus they charged me a $100 damage deposit (which seemed excessive to me, since not even the most expensive hotels had charged me such a large deposit).
