A/C barely worked; price booked was $188 - ended up being $277 due to $50 extra to park. For those prices remodels and upgrades are desperately needed.

Disliked: A/C was bad; price way too high.

Liked: The hotel was amazing. We requested for a better view room, and they fulfilled our wish. The location is amazing. Grant park, millenium park, michigan avenue all of them are in walking distance. Plus the train and bus stations are like 2 mins or 4 mins away. Amazing!!
Disliked: Nothing was unlikeable

We only needed basic accomodations,...

Liked: The front desk staff was very friendly.However, they did not address problems at all (our AC was not working, and there was a leak in the bathroom tub faucet, but they did not do anything about it while we were there
Disliked: I realize this is an old building and the mode of AC is window units - but our window unit could not keep our room cool, and we had a tiny room.The tub faucet leaded - not really a problem for us, but it doesn't help with your water billHousekeeping staff - some (not all) had an attitude - even when I smiled and said "hello" they looked at me like I was a bother and turned away, not even acknowledging my greeting. I was in the travel industry for 15 years and I try to treat all hospitality workers with courtesy and respect.
