Get what you pay for. No bells or whistles but for the price I would stay there again.

Liked: Inexpensive.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: It was really comfy, and well situated. The staff was really nice, it was perfect for us and our expectations
Disliked: it was sometimes really noisy but you?re in the center of Chicago so it makes sense

Disliked: No refrigerator, no breakfast, vending machines on every floor is broken. The rooms and bathroom is extremely small. For the price, it?s not worth it,

Spartan but inexpensive

Liked: The hotel was inexpensive and conveniently located. The lobby has a spacious and lovely sitting area for those who don't want to spend all of their stay in their rooms. Several restaurants are within a 10-minute walk and there's a breakfast-and-lunch cafe in the hotel itself.
Disliked: The furniture is beyond its "best before" date. The mattress has a pronounced sag where guests have been sitting and it has been "reinforced" with a foam topper. The desk and chair were both well-worn. The elevated train rolls through nearby and while I slept through it without difficulty ? in fact, I rather enjoyed the sound ? light sleepers might be disturbed by it.

Liked: location
Disliked: We have stayed there quite a few times. This time the bathroom was dirty, the fan was broke, the bed was broke, and the remote to the TV was broken. When we requested a new room the older man was very rude to my husband. Bad stay overall

No frills, but good for...

Liked: Great location in the loop. The price is hard to beat for the location. Coffeemaker and hairdryer are in the room. The elevators were replaced a few years ago and now are fast and convenient.
Disliked: The room with two double beds did not have a desk or any surface to work on a laptop.

Liked: Location! Perfect location in downtown Chicago! Close to all the key tourist destinations in Chicago.
Disliked: TV wasn't working. Room Heater wasn't that effective. Radiator noise was also a big problem.

Liked: On the heart of everything
Disliked: Too much noise

Liked: Location put it within walking distance of everywhere we needed to be.
Disliked: Overnight parking was across the street but apparently it was some of the better pricing in downtown Chicago so can't complain too much. Certain staff at the front desk were reluctant to help us with reservation issues and told us to go online.
