Liked: This is such a trustworthy safe haven near cairns central.. always clean and tidy. Inside and out . Comfy beds . and Peter is always amazing to communicate with.

Great value twin room outside...

Liked: Location in a peaceful area outside the center. Plenty of seating and lounge areas outdoors and indoors. The room was good, had a mini fridge inside. Nice touch that towels were offered with the room. Bathrooms were kept very clean.
Disliked: Kitchen/fridges could have been cleaner, could use a general deep clean.

Disappointing Arrival Experience

Liked: The room was clean and tidy, which we appreciated.
Disliked: The staff. We were made to feel very uncomfortable upon arrival. Despite booking for two people, the staff insisted it was for one and questioned us repeatedly about why three of us entered the accommodation. The way we were treated felt judgmental and unwelcoming, which was disappointing—especially as we were simply trying to let my mum rest at the hotel before our 9:30 PM flight to Melbourne, while my husband and I planned to visit the lagoon in the meantime

Budget accomodation with a nice...

Liked: The hostel is in a good location, about one street away from the main bit. Our room was ok, clean but the aircon is old and smells bad - and you have to have it on as it’s just too hot. We had to use the fridge in the kitchen as ours smelled extremely bad. We had the bathroom on the ground floor pretty much for ourselves which was good. The kitchen is well equipped and the owner is lovely, let us use the bathroom and kitchen after checking out.
