Travel Inn Motel

Half mile walk to Xfinity Theater is the only plus side.

Disliked: Cigarette burns in the blankets and sheets. Mold in bathroom; soap scum covering bathroom; horrific smells in rooms.

Disgusting excuse for a hotel. It's not hard to keep clean sheets and blankets and it was a complete disgrace to sleep in that filth. What sort of hotel charges $190/night and then has dirty sheets with cigarette burn holes? We only stayed because there were no open hotels within 10 miles.

Liked: Nothing positive. It was a disgusting room.
Disliked: Disgusting. There were cigarette burn holes in the sheets and the floors were filthy. We were so grossed out we slept on top of the sheets with our clothes on.

Liked: Nothing but it was near many areas
Disliked: Smelly, unclean, rude staff, and nothing was making me feel i can redo this ever again!I had to move from room to another because there were mouses!!!! Then the other room had bigger mouses!

Liked: Clean room / well maintained facility. Good location if you’re without a car — businesses and services within short walking distance and Municipal Bus service (CT Transit — Hartford) nearby.
Disliked: Some traffic noise — due to proximity to City Police Station (frequent Emergency Vehicle sirens) and highway nearby (Interstate 91 North / South).

Disliked: Bedbugs, Roaches. The people that run the hotel take all the money and invest it in the room that they’ve turned into their personal apartment while the rooms are infested with roaches bedbugs cigarette burns all over the carpet and furniture.

Disliked: We did not stay. After waiting 10 minutes to check in and get our key we finally got to the room. Upon opening the door to the "nonsmoking" room, we about fell over from the smell of old smoke and urine. The mini fridge was on the floor and was so small would barely hold 2 bottles of soda. The carpet was shaggy, stained, and filthy. The beds looked unmade and we didn't even cross the threshold. The room literally looked like a set from a horror movie. We left immediately. Returning to the lobby to inform the clerk we would not be staying and requested a refund from booking. I am awaiting a response. We went to the Motel 6 about 25 minutes down the freeway and it was much more welcoming, clean and safe.
