Disliked: Property was filthy! Garbage all over! Grass not cut—- screens busted out! Apparently property owners hadn’t a clue! Will not stay again!

I would stay here again...

Liked: The breakfast was 'continental', we walked into the breakfast room about 7am. There were fresh waffles (make your own), real butter and decent syrup, assorted muffins/pastries, minimal fruit available. No creamer other than individual powder packets for coffee, however there was whole milk in the refrigerator. Dry cereal and oatmeal were available as well as bread for toast. Orange juice in the fridge as well as milk.
Disliked: More fresh fruit (not just apples) or fruit in a cup would have made this a better continental breakfast.

Liked: Good price for a decent room
Disliked: Pillows were flat and needed more but couldn't get any on our last stay so I had a lot of pain from it

TRAVEL INN AND SUITES SIKESTON,...

Liked: Easy access right off the interstate. A new employee was being trained so the checkin took a little longer, but still went quickly. There was a No Vacancy sign on the door, so assume the motel was full, but it was quiet the entire night. Well lit parking lot. Decent Continental breakfast the next morning. For the lower cost, it is a good value. Bring your own hair dryer. We would stay here again when traveling in this area. Be sure to get your confirmation number.

Liked: It was a great price. Staff was nice.Great for a quick stop overnight. We saw no evidence of bed bugs as other reviews have stated. I stripped the bed back and looked. All was clean.
Disliked: Seemed alot if people "lived" there. Trash was overflowing outside at lobby door with beer cans. I believe the long term were on 2nd floor and the overnighters were on 1st. The lobby and halls smelled of cigarette smoke. The room did not.Breakfast was ok at best. Waffle batter was watery. Tried twice to make a waffle.
