Tranquilo

A great place to stay, right near the beach. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Will stay here again.

Disappointing

Liked: I like that the staff listened and help to make our stay confortable by moving us to another property. The second property, the second night of the reservation was great.
Disliked: Regardless that the price was economical and appropriate for a 3 star hotel, the room was depressing, the outdoors and bed were the worst. Very old room. Not as advertised. A total nightmare the first night at “Tranquilo”

Quiet and central

Liked: Great quiet location, big rooms with fridge and coffee maker. Lovely pool, too and ice machine down the corridor. Reception is not man es but works perfectly fine on call and staff were very helpful and nice!

Affordable stay for beach lovers

Liked: Affordable rates, close to the beach, and close to free street parking.
Disliked: I stayed for seven nights. Although the hotel was almost 80% empty during my stay, my room location was subpar. It was on the first floor and centrally located on the outside walkway, so I had to keep the curtains down the entire time, which made the room darker than it already was. The wall between the neighboring room was so thin that I could hear everyone as if they were in my room. The room was very clean, and housekeeping throughout the stay was basically emptying trash and replacing towels. I had no shower gel throughout the entire stay. I did buy a big bottle and left it in the bathroom, so maybe housekeeping will check on it, but nope.:) It is summer, so the front desk is unattended unless there are check-ins. The AC was very loud (which ended up being a plus for covering up noise from the pool). Not so Tranquilo stay after all. :) It is my fault. I was very cheap; almost any decent hotel had reasonable rates of around one hundred bucks. Shell a couple extra bucks and stay somewhere else where you won’t feel like you are in a basement.

Disliked: The only thing that I didn't like...Was that I didnt book my stay for longer. Thanks Tranquilo. I'll definitely be back soon.

Very good

Liked: It was easy to contact the front desk if they weren't in office. The location is perfect - close to the beach and cute places to grab breakfast. The room was cute and the bed confortable.
Disliked: My room wasn't cleaned every day, and when it was, not very well. One time the person just handed me a bag with towels and toilet paper and took off.

Superb

Liked: Short walk straight to beach and 10 minute walk to pizza spot and little market
Disliked: Beds were uncomfortable
