Facilities need updating and hygiene...

Liked: The room was fine, comfortable bed and all the amenities you’d expect. We dined there during the evening of our stay and the food was really great. The waiting staff were incredibly polite and helpful.
Disliked: The sink in my room was cracked, there were dark watery stains on the floor of the shower (so I didn’t use it) which was permanently dripping and the windows were not glazed sufficiently to block out any of the traffic noise. However, the most disgusting thing was when I used the public toilet in the steakhouse section of the hotel the following morning, there was a toilet brush in the cubicle which was covered in faeces and toilet paper. It looked really old as though it hadn’t been changed in years.

Good location!

Liked: Staff were great. Lots of parking space. Location was good for our needs - very close to major tram stop.
Disliked: Room not the cleanest but passable. Additional charge for parking. Bed fairly hard but I suppose that's subjective.

Disappointed and woke up tired...

Liked: Very large and comfortable bed
Disliked: We could not sleep... We stayed in the Trafford Room - the room is facing the main road, and the windows are not double, or triple glazed so the noise pollution from the busy road was awful. It is impossible to sleep due to the traffic noise. The Internet / Smart feature on both TVs in our room did not work.During dinner I found the waiter to be lacking in friendliness and my chips were cold. (Although the steak was amazing!)

Definitely not value for money.

Liked: Staff were very nice.
Disliked: 1 of 2 rooms not ready on arrival at 3.30pm even though check in was 3pm. Dated interior. Very grubby in areas. Stained carpets. Water stains on ceilings. Dust on fixtures. Complaints from other guests about water dripping when shower in use. Fire alarms going off randomly due to cooking from restaurant. Noise from carpark in the morning due truck deliveries.
