Location was great. Very clean...
Liked: I liked that it was like an apartment and it had a pool.
Disliked: The pool was alittle cloudy and stuff floating in jt. The beds were hard as a rock.

Hotel has potential but needs...
Liked: We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, we enjoyed the daily wine tasting and that they offer complementary happy hour, we also found the pool to be quite refreshing
Disliked: Although this hotel has so much potential we found it rather disappointing that our room was roach infested. There was as a window that was unable to be clothed in the bathroom.

Liked: The apartment was very large and although it was close to the pool it was quiet, there were some noises at night coming from other rooms.They don't do daily cleaning, but when we asked they complied and our room was very clean, and the person who cleaned it was very attentive to detail.The garden and pool area were always very clean, pool/beach towels were provided. There was coffee and tea available at reception, and on the day we checked out, we were able to enjoy the pool area after hours. The location of the apartment was excellent, close to the beach and also close to a bicycle station and markets. I recommend you buy the city bike rental package, it's very worthwhile to cycle around and enjoy the city.
Disliked: The air conditioning was very noisy and the curtains didn't completely block out the light.No beach chairs or parasols were provided. The freezer wasn't working properly, it only kept drinks cold, but our ice cream completely melted.

Liked: It was a very nice place. I enjoyed the pool. It was in a central location. You can get basic items in the Walgreens nearby. Getting downtown and to other attractions was very easy.The staff was very friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate give it a try. You would not be disappointed. . Our experience at Trades Wind was wonderful

Avoid this place unless you...
Liked: It had cute curb appeal. But that’s literally it. Like a siren in the ocean, it reels you in, but the actual apartments are dirty and everything inside is broken.
Disliked: No drinking water on site. They told me I had to go buy water from the gas station. Not even a water fountain there. I had to climb in the dumpster outside to close the bathroom door that was left wide open and had a broken crank handle so you couldn’t close it. But I could never get it to lock so I never felt safe. Burn marks in the couch. Outlets broken so the table lamp was partially plugged in and risked electrocuting someone if they accidentally touched it. Staff couldn’t care less about any of it, or maybe they’ve just become so use to the complaints. Location was fine, but they don’t get credit for just existing in Miami Beach. I’d never rent here again.
