Disliked: There was a terrible funky smell. We had booked a 2 queen room, they called and asked if we would move to a one queen room, same price. We did not want to change. When we got our room they put us in a one queen any way and we asked for a discount, only $20 for 2 days.

Liked: King size bed was comfy and they mini fridge kept our food and liquids cold enough but not freezing.
Disliked: The TV and remote didn't sink together. Mentioned it to the front desk at checkout. They were aware of it from other guest as well. Our AC wasn't working very well the first night. Called the front desk in the morning and they replaced it with a new unit early afternoon.

The exterior looks good but...
Disliked: This is an older motel and is showing the wear and tear. Also my room had a strong cleaning product odor which I do not like. That stink gets into everything you bring into the room. Also be forewarned that the motel has long term low income residents with pets.

Liked: One of the reasons for booking this facility was breakfast was included, there was no breakfast, desk attendant told us it was not up and going yet. Room was spacious, but dated.
Disliked: The whole facility is in need of updates and cosmetic repairs. Dog feces stains on hallway carpeting.

Great value and location if...
Liked: The location is great! It is on a quiet street in historic Chaska with little shops and a few parks. Parking was always available and the staff very accommodating and friendly. I just needed a place to sleep for one night and I think it was a great value. It has a very casual and simple vibe. It seems like they offer temporary housing for people as many rooms had long term occupants with door mats and pets, but it was not an issue.
Disliked: There was not continental breakfast due to COVID, though I was not informed until I woke up and went to the locked breakfast lounge with signs stating so. There was a Dunn Bros a block away, so that was handy! The hotel has up to date tech, but the facilities could use some updating. The room itself was nice and clean, but the elevator and some other aspects of the facilities were a bit rough.
