Disliked: The roaches, loud bed noises, and ruckus outside that has me worried about my car

Liked: The motel owner was amazing. Very friendly The bed was very comfortable and location was close and walking distance to all we needed to do. Air conditioning worked well.
Disliked: The room was dirty and there were no ‘real’ utilities. No jug to boil water, plates, cups. Knifes or forks etc no coffee or such either.We had to ask for fresh towels The floor and bathroom needed a good scrub. Hot water took a good five minutes or more to come through on shower. There were many transients and homeless begging just outside motel but did not give any bother. Neighbourhood business owners are very rude.

Roach Motel

Liked: Nothing, found 5 cockroaches in our room.
Disliked: We checked in at 1p.m., were there 10 minutes and left for a concert and did not check backin in til 11p.m. Found 3 cockroaches in the tub, one on the wall, and 1 had managed to get into my coffee that was on a nightstand next to the couch. I went to office and told them we were leaving, not staying in a room with nasty bugs. The guy told me he would go in and spray room and it would be good, like I would want to stay in the room after that. They would not refund me, so my daughter and I drove back home ( hour drive) , and stayed in our own roach free homes and then drove back down the next day to the venue we were attending.The red flag was the guy sleeping in the dumpster right across from our room..good times.
