TownePlace Suites by Marriott Sacramento Cal Expo

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. We had a great stay. It was in a great location from where our event was and a good distance to other restaurants using Lyft - our rides were no more than 10 dollars and that was during peak hours.

Disliked: Very loud..guy in room next tome playing video games.. screaming Pet fee of $100 ridiculous..

Enjoyable, relaxing and cool

Liked: It was clean, quiet no issues
Disliked: The bathroom had an odd smell to it. The breakfast was not too good. No fruit at all and no bread of any kind.

Passable

Liked: I liked the 2 bedrooms. Location was pretty good. Close to alot of stuff.
Disliked: Beds were very uncomfortable. Im not sure why, but it sounded like somebody was trying to open our door constantly im not sure if it had to do with other rooms next to us opening and closing their doors. Also the train passes by there and you can definitely hear it when it passes by. There were stains on the curtains and the ac in one of the rooms was not working. One of the room.doors didn't lock. Ac smelled like musty water not a pleasant smell.

Superb

Liked: Everything was great except the hot hallways. Other than that it was clean comfortable beds were great. Will definitely be staying again. And did I mention the shampoo conditioner and body wash smell delicious.
Disliked: Hot hallways other than that it was great.

Poor

Liked: The staff was awesome.
Disliked: There was a urine smell in the room. There had been smoking and I didn't want to switch rooms due to there being no other rooms on the first floor and it was late.

One Bad Night

Liked: I liked the beds, they were soft.
Disliked: We had incredibly terrible neighbors and when calling the front desk they ignored it. We were concerned for our safety, people used rocks to keep entrances open for easy access to come and go. There was a very loud party next door, it was all night long and when the music stopped they were screaming at each other. It also smelled like weed

Exceptional

Comfortable and clean accommodations

Liked: Stayed here for a convention I was volunteering at. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean, has a gym and a laundry room. Each room has a kitchenette that has everything you need including a stove top, dish towel, dish soap and sponge. Bathroom includes body wash shampoo and conditioner. Coffee is 24hr and water is available in the gym on 1st floor. Felt safe staying here by myself. Would definitely stay here again

Liked: The staff was very nice and helpful.
Disliked: Old, needs updating. Flooring had gaps in them. Chair and couch were dirty. Beds and mattresses were heavily stained.
