She ruined our stay!

Liked: The breakfast was good
Disliked: I reserved and paid up front for our room, went to a family birthday celebration. When we arrived the desk clerk could not find our reservation even though I had a reservation number. Finally after 15 minutes of back and forth she said they gave my reservation to someone else with the same last name. Ok she got us a room all ok until we went to check out they debited my card for the two nights. When I spoke to the person checking us out she is the manager she said we had to pay because the people who they gave our reservation too had checked out! Big deal they knew they made the mistake on Friday and never addressed it ? Very poor management. I informed her I was going to dispute the charges on my credit card. She said to me they are not going to give you your money back you will just have to eat it! $324.00 prepaid for reservation plus and additional $155. Just matter of fact conversation like to bad so sad. I walked away said to her we will see. I waited two days for those extra charges to come off my card after I spoke to my credit card agent. I finally got the extra charges removed, what was so difficult for her to switch our names and get the other peoples money? Makes no sense ruined our vacation with family we haven’t seen in years!

Liked: Parking fee $12 per hour. Not enough staff. Only one person there. Elevator too slow and noisy. Smell is bad.
Disliked: Fee! Only have one employee working and they making too much money and couldn’t afford another employee!

Horrific and Extremely disappointing, for...

Liked: Breakfast was a disappointment for a Marriott hotel but that was the least of the problems at the Fairfield by Marriott in Roswell NM. When we arrived at the Towneplace Suites by Marriott in Roswell with our Booking.com confirmation number and pin number we were told we had no reservation? The front desk attendant told us "this happens a lot?" She called the Fairfield by Marriott in Roswell and informed us they did have a room and she provided us with driving instructions.
Disliked: When we arrived we booked into a 1 bedroom King Suite room 215 on the second floor in the front of the building. What they didn't tell us at the front desk is that we were going to spend the night with the birds. Without exaggeration, hundreds of Pigeons making bird noises all night directly outside our window. Every 60 seconds there would be a loud popping noise device that would scoot the birds off the roof for about 10 seconds and then the birds would return. This continued all night. No sleeping that night! Also, the room had been sprayed with a strong deodorant apparently to mask the smell of the bird droppings outside the window? Avoid the second floor rooms at Fairfield Marriott at all cost if you are stopping there and planning to sleep.

Liked: I loved the comfort of the room. It was very cozy.
Disliked: The staff was very judgmental on appearances of others and quick to stereotype and I feel like I was violated by profiling. I prepaid for 2 nights got told to leave the next day because of the appearance of 1 guest that came up to see me! He wrecked his bike and had road rash on his face and the staff thought he was a meth head that picked his face.
