Liked: Very clean; employees were really nice; kids enjoyed the swimming pool and a really good location.

We had a great experience and will go back there if we go to another concert at the Granada on the weekend.

Liked: They had free parking in a garage under the hotel. The hotel was walking distance to the Granada, which is where the concert was. There were a ton of restaurants close too. There was an indoor pool and nice patio area. The room had a big fridge and microwave.
Disliked: The TV was in an odd position to watch TV in bed, but we didn't have much time for TV anyway.

Good location but…

Liked: It had a good shower. The pool and hot tub were very clean. It was a good location for Experiencing downtown Lawrence
Disliked: The Layout of the room was awkward. The pillows were the worst I’ve ever experienced. The bed was soft. The tv was small.

Poor

Disliked: I couldn’t stay due to an injury to my wife. I worked through Booking to get a refund. Staff at Marriott said it would be no problem as I had called over a week in advance. The manager, Mel, was apparently too busy to assist with multiple requests sent to her from Booking, so I paid for an empty room.

A home away from home!

Liked: Awesome location! We were in town for a concert at The Bottleneck and the walk was so quick and easy. We parked our car when we arrived and never got back in except to leave the next day. Mass street is right there so we had plenty of optiofor dining as well as a really cool antique store and virtual arcade. We also loved the room! It was my husband and teen, so the pull-out bed was perfect. There was so much storage and the kitchenette was so impressive! We could've stayed for a long time and been very comfortable. They thought of everything, including pots and pans!
Disliked: I prefer an outdoor pool but in their defense, having an indoor helps to provide that awesome amenity year round so I definitely get it! I also wish the breakfast ran later until 11, since checkout isn't until 12. We were out late so slept in and didn't quite make it in time by 10.
