April, Grand Island, visiting Douglas County Fairgrounds Lawrence Mon, 22 April 2019
Liked: Very clean; employees were really nice; kids enjoyed the swimming pool and a really good location.

We had a great experience and will go back there if we go to another concert at the Granada on the weekend.
Liked: They had free parking in a garage under the hotel. The hotel was walking distance to the Granada, which is where the concert was. There were a ton of restaurants close too. There was an indoor pool and nice patio area. The room had a big fridge and microwave.
Disliked: The TV was in an odd position to watch TV in bed, but we didn't have much time for TV anyway.

The hotel staff are friendly...
Liked: Breakfast is very basic but ok. A bit more variety over a stay of 5 or 6 days would be good.

No respect for service animals
Disliked: We were charged a 100$ ?pet fee? for our service dog despite him wearing his service vest the entire time. At checkout when we asked to have this charge removed we were told that only a manager could remove the charge, who was not there, so we just had to pay the fee.

Liked: Underground free parking kept these southerners from dealing with the cold Kansas wind ! Big plus. One bedroom had everything including utensils in kitchenette.

Great location near Mass St.
Liked: Great location, very quiet & basement parking garage
Disliked: Room was supposed to sleep 4, but not comfortably. The pull out couch was basically an oversize twin. The elevator of the parking garage was also used by housekeeping & not really available for guests when trying to leave. Breakfast wasn't much for such a pricey hotel.
