I chose not to stay...

Disliked: My kids and I traveled hours by car, for a memorable weekend in Las Vegas. This was something I wanted to do with my family, since being diagnosed with Cancer and in treatment. But this experience was a nightmare. I was not expecting to receive the most horrible, upsetting, discriminating experience in my life! Our room on the 4th floor smelled like vomit, which was coming from the restroom. I immediately contacted the front desk clerk on duty put us in a temporary room on the 2nd floor, until our room was disinfected and clean. He told me that he would have someone meet me at the 2nd floor room, but no one ever came so I had to physically go back down to the front desk. The room on the second floor was dirty too, the room had a foul odor, the couches had stains and the carpet was damp. I told the same front desk clerk this and his demeanor changed and when I asked him how much longer until our first room would be ready, he told me he gave that room to another customer already. I immediately asked for a refund and he told me he couldn’t give me a refund. Then I asked to speak to a manager and he told me “take a card and email them”. I again asked to speak to a manager now because I no longer wanted to stay at this resort and I wanted my full refund. When I asked for a pen, he tossed it to me. This all falls under inappropriate and unprofessional customer service. I was finally able to speak to the manager “Chris” who issued the full refund. This experience caused so much traumatic stress, I am sharing my experience because no one should be treated this way or have to experience anything like this. This experience has resulted in never giving my business to a Marriott Resort.
