Didn't get a suite despite...

Liked: The rooms were clean and nice.
Disliked: We paid nearly $70 more for a suite with two rooms and we were traveling as a family but I had a big deadline for work and needed a separate area for two work calls and quiet to get things done. When we arrived, we were not informed of any change but given a small room with two beds- no suite despite being charged for one. We went back to the desk to check and were told that all the suites were given away already (despite us having reserved and paid for one). We were told we could pay for an additional room at full price and we weren't given a discount for not receiving the suite we'd already paid for. They comped us four bottles of water. The hotel claims this is the fault of Booking.com and that they are within their rights to charge us for a suite but give us a normal room. I have never had this happen in the dozen+ rooms I've rented from Booking.com and felt the hotel charging us for a suite when we didn't get one was unacceptable. Word to the wise- you may reserve a suite and even pay for it but it appears they feel it's fine just to give you a small room.

Liked: Very friendly and helpfull lady at the front desk. Very well equipped room. Full kitchen! Close to the interstate.
Disliked: The mattress of the sofa bed could be more comfy.

For a chain hotel I...

Liked: Breakfast was a decent hotel breakfast. Fresh fruit,lots of eggs,real cream for coffee which was really nice. Staff were excellent. Rooms were very visually nice and clean,but body odor was horrible. Thankfully the window opens so I could leave that open all night and it helped some. I loved the kitchenette. It was well stocked and the fridge worked great which many hotel fridges don't. Location was great and can accommodate truck parking for 1 or 2 trucks. Easy to get into and find.
Disliked: The beds are so hard. Even with extra blankets layered they are still extremely hard and uncomfortable. Housekeeping is very loud in the mornings. You could hear them easily from any spot on that floor and the floor below. I'm not sure how much of that is the thin walls because I heard a lot of guest noise all night as well. Maybe with better walls I wouldn't have noticed them too much. Again the odor was so bad. Keeping the window open helped,but it was still strong. After I left the smell was on my clothes all day.

Our stay was fine but...

Liked: It was nice inside, the pool was great. Rooms were nice size if you had the double beds.
Disliked: No towels available at the pool or for rooms. Beds were not super comfy. The small amount of pillows were horrible. Tv hardly worked. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Tiny trash can for a kitchenette. No one emptied our trash our exchanged our towels during our stay. The breakfast was non existent. It was free from 7:30-9:00 but everything would be gone by 8:00 or before and never be replaced. So we never got to eat.
