Financial nightmare. Given a choice,...

Liked: Breakfast was average, the same as most other big chain hotels. Good location near freeway.
Disliked: Room was nothing special and appeared to need a little "refreshing". Carpet had a slight odor. MONETARILY SPEAKING, THE FACILITY WAS NOT PET FRIENDLY. The fee for a pet was outrageous, more than the room charge. At check-in, you learn that the fee is not a deposit for any potential damage the pet may cause but an actual non-refundable charge. Since your credit card was billed the previous day for the standard room charge(per hotel policy), you're left with the choice of 1)paying the exorbitant pet fee, or 2)finding another hotel and just "eating" the room charge that you already paid to TownPlace Suites. Moreover, 3 additional unspecified small charges were made to my credit card. I called the hotel and was told that the charges were probably "deposits" and may be redacted in 3-5 business days. Such money-grubbing business practices may be legal but definitely are not in the customers' best interests.

Liked: The location felt very safe. I enjoyed that there was always a staff member at the desk when we came in and they were extremely nice.
Disliked: The room was awesome overall! The sofa bed was just uncomfortable. My friend got an extra duvet from the staff and slept on that and it helped a lot.

Liked: i loved the hospitality of all staff. My room was right across from the elevator so it was a bit noisy once or twice, but much quieter than I had anticipated. Loved having the amenities available so I could eat from my room. I would definitely stay again. Location was central and yet quiet.
Disliked: Next time I will request a room near an exit at end of hall. It is nice to go discretely in/ out with pet vs down elevator and through lobby. But everyone was very nice.

Overall, we enjoyed the stay....

Liked: Staff were really nice, parking was decent and close, complimentary breakfast which was good and the room was comfortable.
Disliked: No pool, room had a funky smell, but was easily gone after opening windows for a few. Parking lot in front floods when there is rain.
