Filthy and gross

Liked: We had stayed before and used to be ok, location is also ok. But room was really filthy this time.
Disliked: Horribly gross with hair and spots in bed, sofa bed, bedsheets, carpet and bathroom, kitchenette sink was pretty bad too. Worst experience we’ve had. Front desk people were kind and made best to help, switched us to another room that was better but still pretty dirty not vacuumed etc. we didn’t even felt like making use of free breakfast wondering what was the cleaning status for their kitchen.

Facilities are clean and comfy.

Liked: Very clean and roomy. Quiet.
Disliked: The night employee , Chris, was very rude… but with a smile. I called the facility at 8 pm to notify them we would arrive after midnight. Nobody told chris. He was less than welcoming. Had pre confirmed and was told I would rec a digital key. Never happened. Chris spent 30 min attempting to get keys to work. I understand stuff happens but he made it worse. Came barreling up the back steps and scared us as we were waiting outside the door. He opened with regular keys. As i turned to inquire about working keys, the door literally slammed in my face. I went to the front desk where he was frantically trying to produce working keys w my son in law. I told him that we were tired and we did not appreciate his manner towards us. I asked him to please just BE NICE TO US. He replied that he was frustrated by the keys and maybe after we get a good sleep, WE WILL FEEL BETTER. Really? Im sorry. Even at Motel 6 they leave the light on for you. The room seems quiet clean and comfy. But this guy leaves a-lot to be desired when it comes to welcoming tired and weary guests.

Liked: location is great for our needs. we like the option of suites, especially the two bedroom suite
Disliked: they seemed to be understaffed. there was trash in the halls that didn’t get picked up. the breakfast bar needed attention both mornings. coffee was empty both mornings and some of the hot options were empty and needed to be refilled. The employees also seemed new and had difficulty helping me with my billing concern. There was a mistake on my bill that has yet to be resolved (but it has only been one day)

Wonderful place, highly recommend!

Liked: Lovely staff! Very clean and comfortable hotel. Highly recommend, great area.
Disliked: Breakfast quite disappointing. Creamers had gone bad, food poor quality, including stale fruit and bread. Surprising when every single other thing was quite perfect!

Liked: I definitely preferred this location due to being off the main highway so less noise & not close to railroad tracks. The breakfast was very nice & being offered more options besides just fruit & muffins makes this appealing. I reserved this hotel due to the full kitchenette in my room as well. I would like to give your hotel staff member Destiny, who checked us in, a good thumbs up even as I was being a little upset (see note below).
Disliked: Due to my error in reading all the rules for a pet stay, I was shocked to hear that I would be paying a flat, non-refundable fee of $100 for my dog. I wouldn't have stayed here had I noticed that fee, that is my fault. I would like to recommend that maybe for those travelers who are only staying one night, that the pet fee is reduced. The only other critiques I might add is the slippery shower floor - I put a towel in the tub so as not to fall. Suggestion might be to provide a rubber mat to place down first.
