Decent room
Liked: The room setup was really nice.
Disliked: The smell was awful. Smelt like mildew or mold. Went out to buy an air purifier to soften the smell. It helped a little. The mattress was outdated and very uncomfortable.

Terrible service all around
Liked: Location was good, as it is directly off the highway.
Disliked: I booked a reservation with TownPlace Suites by Marriot in Charleston, SC for one night’s stay on June 14, 2025-June 15, 2025. Upon arrival, there was a power outage as an old tree had fallen onto the property during a terrible storm. I had to use a friend’s hotel room to get dressed for a wedding, which I was, of course, late to because of scrambling for last minute accommodations. I was unable to be checked in until after midnight. The bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned but by that time I was too exhausted to complain. I asked the front desk of the hotel was it possible to be compensated/refunded for my stay due to the major inconvenience and they advised me that I needed to contact Booking.com. I contacted Booking.com on June 15, 2025 and was told by Booking.com that the hotel manager was not on site and to give booking 48 hours to resolve the matter. To date (6/18/25), the manager has still not replied to booking.com Also, after SEVERAL calls to Booking.com, I keep being placed on hold, for sometimes as long as an hour and thirty minutes only either have no representative return to the call or the excuse that they are still trying to contact the property.

Nice with a few bads
Liked: Nice two bedroom apartment
Disliked: The place urgently needs new house keeping staff. One of the beds was soiled when we got there. We asked for somebody to change the bed sheets. Nobody was available. We had to change the sheets ourselves. The dirty bed sheets remained in the room until we left.No daily house cleaning services. The place was not clean enough. It’s a two bedroom suite with table silverware and dishes for three people. We were four. The dishwasher didn’t work and it took the staff 24hs to fix it.
