Passable

Room was big and beyond...

Liked: Very spacious rooms with all appliances required to cook your own meals (including a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and stoves!). Not exceptionally close to the city center but still within walking distance (15-20mins from Empire State Plaza, but mostly flat so easy to walk there). Facilities seemed good but did not really make the most out of them as I was travelling for an exam and was therefore mostly in my room studying.
Disliked: Not much to do around the property (but again, can easily walk anywhere as Albany is relatively small). The property could organize a shuttle service to/from the New York State Bar Exam, as the property is mostly inhabited by students taking the exam around exam dates and most other hotels/properties offer this service.

Disliked: The breakfast ! No healthy option. All processed food and breakfast room was tiny, made it difficult to navigate.

excellent for health care medical...

Liked: We were there for surgery at the medical center. We had the handicap suite. It was perfect. Staff lovely, facilities helpful. Breakfast was not the most appetizing but not terrible. The internet and TV stations were ample.
Disliked: Breakfast was not appetizing but the packaged foods were ok
