I enjoyed my room - it was like a cute little apartment, although the pictures on the website are NOTHING like the rooms themselves. Huge let down but it was a good stay. Upon arrival I checked the bed and it had hair and crumbs and who knows what else under the first sheet. Called the front desk and had replacements no problem.

Liked: Excellent customer service and location.
Disliked: Bed wasn't clean on arrival.

A good hotel for a...

Liked: This hotel is very well located, there is a subway station 5 min away, and a few restaurants, supermarkets and coffee shops near by. The staff at the reception was always friendly and the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the AC was working properly which was so important since the weather in Toronto was hot and humid. I used the laundry room, both washing and drying machines worked well, however at the end of the day it was hard to wash clothes since there was only one washing machine working (the other 2 were out of order). The suite needs to be updated, but it served our needs. This hotel is located in the LGBT "district" but I didn't mind.
Disliked: The room needed to be updated and some of the appliances don't work properly (the electric kettle wasn't working). The fire alarm went off during our stay, and we had to use the emergency exit, but there was no hotel staff directing us to the meeting point).

Good value, great location.

Liked: We got an upgrade which always sounds nice of course, but it was essentially a small apartment with a rather small bedroom and a fairly basic bathroom.
Disliked: It was small things like the light switches being in odd places and no charging outlets by both bedsides that made for minor annoyances.
