Hotel Description
Situated in the middle of all the action and adventure the Black Hills have to offer the quaint Town Hall Inn has had many different incarnations over the years. Originally constructed as Lead's town hall in 1912 the ornate building held many functions including the mayor's and treasurer's office court room jail judge's chambers and even gallows which were directly behind the building. On top of that the Homestake Mining Company housed their general offices in the building for nearly 50 years. The twelve rooms with names such as Prosecution Mayor's Office and Auditor's Office each contain a flat screen TV a microwave a small refrigerator and an en suite bathroom. There's also an array of lovely antique stores eateries museums art galleries and the Historic Homestake Opera House all located on Lead's Maine Street.

Wonderful! Unique! Vintage!

Liked: Everything was wonderful!! Sue was great and funny too! Room was lovely and big! Bed so comfy. Bathroom great! Truly vintage and unique but also all the extra comforts too! Asbsoluetly would come back!
Disliked: Nothing negative! All was perfect! Loved it!

Quaint, charming hotel in the...

Liked: Breakfast was good. There was a variety of foods including fruit, hard boiled eggs, and muffins. Also juice and coffee were available. The building had such old world charm that was really endearing. The rooms were a page right out of a history book! The windows were huge and beautiful, the beds were very comfortable. Hotel was clean, neat and tidy.
Disliked: Something hot for breakfast would have been nice like a waffle maker but honestly there were plenty of things to choose from for breakfast.
