Absolutely beautiful

Liked: Absolutely beautiful. Excellent hosts who were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Room was spotless as was the bathroom. Breakfast was exceptional.An absolute gem of a place .The room was bright and beds were extremely comfy.
Disliked: There were no negatives at all

Liked: Beautifull classic room with modern facilities, such as Electric curtains. Everything nice and clean. The host was very friendly and made us some very fine breakfast with lots of good fruits such as blueberries and strawberries.If I could, I would give the residence more than 10, because everything was just fantastic.

A total gem

Liked: Everything was brilliant. Parking on site, right by a bus service into the city . The guest house was spotless and had amazing facilities, they had thought of everything and were so accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic. I cannot recommend Tower Guest House highly enough.
Disliked: Nothing apart from the fact we couldn't get Netflix on the TV because we are not technically savvy enough!

Amazing guest house. Exceptional.

Liked: The room was absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Samurai room. Everything was very clean. The smart tv with netflix included is a nice touch. We didn't really use that as we were always out and about. The breakfast was the best I have ever had when staying at a guest house. All the ingredients were top quality. I liked ordering the next days breakfast on the app and particularly liked having the option to customise certain elements such as how you would like your eggs. The hosts Tony and Diana were both very friendly and attentive. Location-wise it is about a 15-20 min walk from the centre which may put some people off. This wasn't an issue for us. Our parents stayed at the guest house with us in another room so walking wasn't always an option for us. There is a bus stop just across the road which has a bus going into town every 15 mins or so. The bus was very cheap with a group day ticket for 4 people only costing £13. This gave unlimited use on York First buses for the whole day. All in all a fantastic experience.
Disliked: I cant say there was anything I personally disliked. Some people may be put off by the fact it isn't as central as other accommodation and some people may not like the idea of using an app to control room climate and order breakfast. This wasn't an issue for me but I realise some people may not be used to using technology to order.

Liked: Very clean, spacious and well decorated with great attention to detail. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Lovely breakfast included.
Disliked: Nothing against the property but it was a little too far out for our needs (this was our own fault however, as we hadn’t thoroughly researched the area - visiting for a cricket fixture)Couldn’t seem to get Netflix to work on the TV, but not essential.
