Avoid accommodations in the center...

Liked: The staff was really pleasant and hospitable.
Disliked: First the location. I would recommend to anyone going in San Francisco for the first time to avoid accommodations in the center of the city as it is unsafe and there are a lot of shady people. Better to be accommodated in another neighborhoods so you could walk freely at night.As per the hotel, the building was old and not so clean but it was good value for the money, especially for a short stay.

it was an ok stay.

Liked: it was ok, location was great. don't appreciate that they charge an extra fee for minors. under 18 is a minor, bur oh well.
Disliked: the extra fee for minors seems ridiculous.
